Felecia Blanton began her career in public relations working for non-profits in Little Rock and Memphis. Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation (BMHCC) took a chance on a young, eager PR person in its Community Relations Department. Working with BMHCC brought her professional development and insight into healthcare marketing and public outreach. Remaining in Memphis, she became Public Relations Director of Christian Brothers College. Soon the rebranding of college to university happened reflecting all that the Christian Brothers had built on South Parkway. Leading the way through a name-change to Christian Brothers University was a learning and rewarding experience. Off to Missouri in the early 90s she to worked in education fund development, an acute care hospital and then to Marketing Director for Saint Francis Healthcare System, a 308-bed medical center with 200 Medical Partners and 10 locations.
